ABOUT BIOLABMATE
BioLabMate Composite Inc. is a Canadian biomaterials company developing seaweed-based bioresins that replace conventional petroleum-based plastics. Our renewable materials are designed to meet the performance demands of laboratory, consumer, and industrial applications while supporting a more sustainable future.

Our technology transforms marine biomass into plug-and-play bioresins compatible with existing extrusion, injection molding, thermoforming, compression molding, and 3D printing processes. This enables manufacturers to adopt sustainable materials without significant changes to their current production infrastructure.

By combining material science, biotechnology, and engineering, BioLabMate is accelerating the transition toward a circular bioeconomy creating high-performance biomaterials that reduce plastic waste, lower carbon emissions, and help build the next generation of sustainable products.

Our Founding Team
BioLabMate Composite Inc. was founded by Dr. Sarika Kumari and Sanjay Dubey, who combined their expertise in biochemistry, biomaterials, and process engineering to address one of the world's fastest-growing environmental challenges: plastic waste. While working in research laboratories, they witnessed firsthand the extensive use of single-use plastic consumables and the lack of sustainable alternatives that met both scientific performance requirements and existing manufacturing standards. They recognized that solving this challenge required more than simply replacing plastic it demanded the development of next-generation biomaterials that could integrate seamlessly into today's manufacturing ecosystem.

Today, BioLabMate is developing seaweed-derived bioresins designed as plug-and-play materials, compatible with existing extrusion, injection molding, thermoforming, compression molding, and additive manufacturing technologies. By enabling manufacturers to adopt sustainable materials without significant changes to their production infrastructure, BioLabMate helps accelerate the transition toward a circular bioeconomy.

Driven by innovation, scientific excellence, and environmental responsibility, the founders continue to work alongside researchers, manufacturers, universities, and industry partners to create high-performance biomaterials that reduce plastic waste while delivering practical, scalable solutions for the industries of tomorrow.
