Dr Sarika Kumari
CE0 / Co-Founder
As a co-founder of BioLabMate, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise in the field of biotechnology. Prior to co-founding this innovative startup, I worked at the Composite Innovation Center in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where I gained valuable insights into cutting-edge research and development practices. Additionally, my passion for biomaterials led me to pursue a master's thesis at the University of Saskatchewan, where I focused on designing and fabricating biomaterials for various applications. To further expand my knowledge and skills, I successfully completed my PhD in the Biochemistry Department at Memorial University of Newfoundland in December 2022.
Throughout my career, I have exhibited unwavering motivation and a results-oriented approach. With a decade of research experience. I was heavily involved in a master project at the University of Saskatchewan, where our team developed a groundbreaking product for artificial knee transplants.
As a co-founder of our ocean-based startup, BioLabMate, I am thrilled to contribute my expertise and problem-solving abilities to our mission. With a strong background in research and project management, I am dedicated to driving the production of biodegradable lab products using ocena based alage. We are committed to sustainability and innovation, and I am confident that our startup will have a profound impact not only in the biotechnology sector but also in the broader effort to protect our environment.
In line with our commitment to ocean preservation, I am actively seeking to join various initiatives and learning opportunities focused on reducing microplastic pollution in our oceans. It is disheartening to see that a significant portion of lab plastic ends up in landfills, and unfortunately, some of it finds its way into the ocean. I believe that by collaborating with like-minded individuals and organizations, we can collectively work towards finding solutions to this problematic issue.
