Today, we had the opportunity to meet Dr. Janet Morrison, President and Vice-Chancellor of Memorial University of Newfoundland, and share the journey of BioLabMate Composite Inc. We discussed how BioLabMate is working to develop seaweed-derived sustainable materials that can help address plastic waste and support a more circular, low-carbon economy. We are grateful for the opportunity to share our progress and discuss how university innovation, entrepreneurship, student talent, and the local startup ecosystem can work together to address real-world climate and sustainability challenges. Thank you, Dr. Morrison, for your time and for the encouraging conversation. #BioLabMate #MemorialUniversity #SeaweedInnovation #SustainableMaterials #Biomaterials #CircularEconomy #ClimateInnovation #StudentEntrepreneurship #AtlanticCanadianInnovation
